Our Mission
Our mission is achieved by providing talent development programs, support and activities to sport in the region. This assistance helps our athletes overcome major disadvantages compared to their city counterparts. Advantages include the tyranny of distance, lack of access to quality coaching on a regular basis, inadequate regular high quality competition and limited exposure to state sporting bodies.

NIAS and HealthWISE: Paving the path to Olympic success for local youth
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Active Champions Fund, a new partnership between NIAS and HealthWISE, an organisation that shares our commitment to fostering a healthier community and investing in the region’s sporting talent.

We are thrilled to announce that Myles Manning from Tamworth, has been selected for the prestigious Tennis NSW / RAS Country Stars Tennis Program, one of only 32 selected from across NSW.
