NIAS and Whitehaven Coal Unite to Support the Regions’ Talented Athletes and Coaches 

The Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS) is excited to announce its new partnership with Whitehaven Coal and looks forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring to the region. With similar geographic footprints, this united front was initiated to support the region’s talented athletes and coaches from the Northern Inland, creating more pathways for regional communities to thrive in sport, on and off the field.

The NIAS Induction Day, held on Sunday, 10 November at Lake Keepit, marked the beginning of an exciting new season for the Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS).

The event brought together athletes, coaches, and families from across the region to celebrate the induction of the next cohort of aspiring young athletes.

Celebrating Excellence at the NIAS Academy Awards

The Northern Inland Academy of Sport (NIAS) is thrilled to announce the resounding success of its Annual Academy Awards, held on Saturday, 10 August, at Wests League Club in Tamworth. This prestigious event brought together the region’s most promising athletes, dedicated coaches, generous sponsors, and committed partners to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the
2023/2024 season.
