Narrabri Shire Council

The Narrabri Shire is located halfway between Brisbane and Sydney and sees a number of talented young athletes every year in various NIAS programs. Narrabri is home to around 14,000 residents spread out across the shire and was named the 'Sportiest town in Australia' in 2002. Each year Narrabri hosts a range of activities from outdoors festivals to social, cultural and sporting events. Narrabri boasts mulptiple sporting ovals and fields, public parks and gardens, swimming pools and libraries that are looked after by the great team at the Narrabri Shire Counil. Narrabri Shire Council are valued associate sponsors of NIAS and provide ongoing support to the athletes in our academy.
